Keep my green heart growing
I’ve been a casual blogger for a little over 2 years and in no way do I really know what I’m doing when it comes to sharing it through social media platforms and even less do I know about how to attract traffic to my website. I guess admitting this means I welcome any advice!
I’ve had a desire to write since I was a little girl, with quite a few journals written cover to cover with poems, inquiries, intentions, dreams, maddening darkness and uplifting answers to my own questions. I’d like to believe there’s something poetic about my blog posts that might reach people in a way that encourages soft discoveries in our true nature.
This interesting comment came along on my recent blog post, Homemade Love Notes that nominated me for the Liebster Award. As I understand this is a welcoming to the online writing community and perhaps the unofficial network of environmental bloggers. I’m encouraged by this welcoming in my recent discouragement of my writing that possibly reaches no eyes, floating about the virtual world with little to no impact. And despite this discouragement I’ll continue to write for myself because it keeps my green heart growing, and that is healthy fuel to keep my attention and intention to live mindfully aware of my imprint in this world.
Thank you to Helen from ‘living lightly at the end of the rapids,’ for your nomination!
